New-York en images à pour célébrer mon premier Thanksgiving aux Etats-Unis!

A Thanksgiving il a fait globalement beau





















mais le dernier jour il a plu comme pas permis !

C'est Heidi, une professeur de sport australienne avec qui j'ai passé une bonne partie de mon séjour.
During my Thanksgivings vacations, the weather was quite nice but the last day it was pouring down.








Le premier jour, j'ai visité l'ONU. En tant que CISVienne convaincue, j'avoue avoir été touchée par toute cette enfilade de drapeaux rangés par ordre  alphabétique.





















The first day I visited the UN-Organization building, as a CISVer, I was so moved to see all these flags flying in alphabetical order.






Le lendemain, j'ai passé toute la journée au Metropolitan, j'ai adoré les visites guidées des conférenciers du musée! En plus si tu montres ta carte de métro et que tu es accompagné(e) de quelqu'un, tu as ton billet d'entrée à 50%.
 I spent the following day in the Metropolitan museum, I loved the lectures that I attended there. On top of that, if you've got a subway-ticket and you come with a friend your fee will be cut in half.
J'ai passé ma troisième journée au muséum d'histoire naturelle. J'ai tellement adoré que je me suis promise d'y retourner à Noël ! Notez bien Ben Stiller vient d'y  interpréter  le rôle d'un gardien de nuit, pour être honnête,  je ne crois pas que « a night at the museum » soit un film à voir. Par contre « déjà vu » avec Denzel Washington m'a bien plu ! Vous y découvrirez pas mal de quartiers de la Nouvelle Orléans !
I spent my third day in the museum of natural history. I loved it so much that I planned to visit it again during my Christmas vacations. I've just found out that the movie « a night at the museum » was shot there, it doesn't seem to be a great movie though. If I were you I 'd rather go to watch « Déjà vu » with Denzel Washington, you'll see plenty of nice spots of New Orleans !
La veille de Thanksgiving, j'ai assisté au gonflage des ballons pour la fameuse parade. Le gonflage prend toute une journée,

I attended the balloon inflatation for the Thanksgiving parade. It lasted the whole day.

Pour clôturer mon séjour en beauté j'ai assisté à ma première comédie musicale sur Broadway «
 Avenue Q », c'est inspiré du dessin animé « Sesame Street », inoubliable !
And to end my stay in NYC greatly, I watched the musical « Sesame Street », unforgettable
